Yureka Plus Put Through A Crazy Scratch Test Before Its Debut Flash Sale

After going through an extreme drop test by Rahul Sharma, CEO of Yu Televentures, Yureka Plus seems to have survived pretty well and worked even with a shattered display screen.
With such many teasers, the Micromax sub-brand Yu recently announced the launch of the Yureka Plus, a successor to its very popular Yureka smartphone.
However, it looks like the company has not stopped boasting the smartphone's sturdiness.
While Yureka Plus was dropped from various heights jut before the launch, YU launched a new video where Rahul Sharma scratches and even chops vegetables on the Yureka Plus screen a few days before the actually flash sale on Thursday, July 24.
It looks like YU is leaving no stones unturned to prove how sturdy their Yureka Plus is. The company is trying to put the smartphone as one of the sturdiest devices available in the market.
While the flash sale is ON at the time of this writng, the smartphone would be available to purchase only for those who have registered prior to the sale.
However, there seems to no announcement on how many devices will go on sale and it is also worth noting that the customers will be able to buy only the white color variant for now.
Along with this, the company has also announced that the registrations are open for the next flash sale of Yureka Plus which will be an open sale on July 30 at 12 PM.
Speaking about the specs of the Yu Yureka Plus, it comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Cyanogen 12 OS based on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, dual SIM slots with 4G support, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera.
YU Yureka Plus will be powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, you will get Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and more. It will come in two variants: Alabaster White and Moondust Gray.
