Celkon Launches Campus A35K With Universal Remote

Apart from the remote feature, nothing else seems to be impressive.

 

Indian mobile maker Celkon has launched a new pocket friendly smartphone dubbed the Campus A35K Remote at Rs 3,199.

Just like the Aqua Y2 Remote by Intex, the Campus A35K Remote too would be allowing you to control TV, AC, Set Top Boxes, DVD Players and more using the IR transmitter present on the top of the smartphone.

While the budget smartphone uses Peel Smart Remote App, it would be easy for you to set reminders, favorites and TV Channel guide.

However, with just a 3.5 inch display screen, the smartphone would prove to be a quite small remote.

Along with this, the Campus A35K Remote comes with a 256 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory which sounds to be completely outdated looking at the heavy sized apps being launched nowadays.

The camera section consists of the 3.2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front facing camera along with a 1,400 mAh battery.

With these specifications in mind, the smartphone seems to be completely outdated with features that are completely lost nowadays, but, considering the price and the smart remote, you can consider it if you are not a full-time smartphone user.

Coming to the availability of the device, it is being said that the Campus A35K Remote comes in blue, black, grey and white colors with a 16 GB memory card free with the smartphone as part of the introductory offer.
