Nintendo To Foray Into Smartphone Games By Year-End
Also, the company is aiming at roll out 5 smartphone games in two years.
Popular video game company Nintendo has finally announced its plans to develop games for mobile devices.
The company is hoping to launch its first smartphone game by the end of this year, if everything goes well.
Also, the company seems to be aiming at having five mobile games being rolled out in two years which might sound like a small number, but considering the dedication and work involved, we believe this to be a good target by Nintendo.
According to IGN, titles of the five games under plan are not yet revealed and the curious gamers will have to wait until the games are ready for the company to make the announcement.
To add in more, Nintendo is planning for games being tailor-made for smartphones and tablets instead of just porting its popular games to these devices.
Thus, these game are likely to be newly developed specially for the smart devices.
With this step, Nintendo seems to have understood the potential market for games and also that smartphone users are increasing day by day as well as many games being developed for this segment.
