OnePlus One To Celebrate Its Birthday With Re 1 Discount On Its Price

The company has also announced 50% off on its accessories for the entire day.

 

With the first flagship killer of OnePlus turning one year old, the China based mobile maker has announced 50% price reduction on all its accessories sold via Amazon India.

The announcement made via an official blog post by the company also states that offer is however valid only for one day, April 24.

Also, for the anniversary, on a humorous note, the company has offered a discount of Re 1 for the smartphone and thus trying to show its commitment in maintaining razor-thin margin in order to give as much value as possible back to our users.

So, the revised price for the day are Rs 18,998 for the 16 GB variant and Rs 21,998 for 64 GB variant.

Although it looks a bit strange for offering just a Re 1 discount on behalf of its anniversary, the company believes that the prices of the OnePlus One smartphone are always relatively low compared to others with similar specs.



The company also claims that even the Re 1 margin would be hurting it as it believes even a price reduction of a single rupee has an enormous impact on the company.

However, it is also worth noting that even after increase in the excise duty on mobile devices being imported into India has been mooted at 12.5%, the company did not hike the price of its smartphone which we feel is really applaudable.
