HTC Launches Its New Smartphone Dubbed As Desire 826
The new smartphone comes with 5.5-inch display and octa-core processor.
Taiwan based mobile manufacturer, HTC has finally launched its latest Desire-series smartphone at Rs 25,990.
Dubbed as the Desire 826, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch display and comes in White Birch, Blue Lagoon and Purple Fire colour schemes.
The HTC Desire 826 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI skinned on top of it and powered by an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.
The device which was announced during this year's CES sports a 13 MP rear camera and 4 UltraPixel front camera which is believed to capture some great quality selfies.
It is also worth noting that the rear camera comes with 28 mm lens, BSI sensor and LED flash.
Another plus point in the device is that it comes with a 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is also expected to be expanded via microSD card.
Coming to the connectivity options on the Desire 826, it comes with 4G support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS and Micro-USB.
Contrarily, the handset is backed by a 2600 mAh battery which may lack in providing battery backup when compared to many other smartphones of the same price range.
