Snapdeal Launches Three New Budget Smartphones
All three smartphones from Snapdeal come in partnership with Rio Mobile at a price range of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000.
The Indian mobile market is being flooded with new mobiles being launched almost every single day ranging from candybar style budget smartphones to premium smartphones.
Snapdeal recently, as a move to capture the price conscious customers of India has come up with three affordable smartphones dubbed as Rio London, Rio Paris and Rio New York.
The phones have been made in collaboration with Rio Mobiles and there have been news that the mobile phones will be promoted in India by TriStar Products, a beauty accessory company.
While Rio London is priced at Rs 3,399, the Rio Paris and Rio New York smartphones are made available with price tags Rs 4,399 and Rs 4,999 respectively.
Coming to the specifications of the mobile devices, the Rio London comes with a 4-inch display and powered by 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB RAM.
Also, the phone comes with 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera with 4 GB internal storage and 1500 mAh battery.
Rio Paris and Rio New York too come with 1.3 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage and 2 MP front camera for selfies.
While Rio Paris comes with 5 MP rear camera and 1700 mAh battery, the Rio New York is equipped with 8 MP rear camera and 2000 mAh battery.
However, It is worth noting that all the three devices run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
We still are unsure how these new mobile phones survive in the present budget smartphones market.
But, all three mobile phones have got some whacky names which the company believes to be characterized up on style, simplicity and combining functionality with high performance.
