User Agent Profile Shows GALAXY A7 With A 64-Bit Processor

Even with a 64-bit processor we cannot expect the performance to match the GALAXY Alpha.

Samsung has indeed been a bit too shy about the long-rumoured GALAXY A range of smartphones. The handsets have been designed to fuse mid-range hardware with a premium form factor. So far we have seen (a bit too much) of the GALAXY A5 and the A3 with very little information about the bigger A7. Well all of that is now about to change as the User Agent profile of the Samsung GALAXY A7 (SM-A700FD) has showed up on the official Samsung website.

The user agent profile (UAP) brings to light, quite a bit of information about the soon to be launched GALAXY A7 smartphone. We knew that the handset that will be the most expensive of the three, but we now know that will come with some interesting hardware specs to boot.

There is the Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Then there is the unexpected, 64-bit processor that will in all probability be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with an ARM v8 architecture.

Of course the Snapdragon 410 is not big on numbers and will certainly not create a dent in the mid-range segment; this is because it is a Samsung handset after all. The smartphone will launch with KitKat inside meaning that the full potential of the device's processing capabilities will only be available starting next year.
