Windows Phone fans in India can now rejoice as the recently launched Lumia 830 is now available for purchase in India. The smartphone is currently available at the Indiatimes Nokia E-Store only for now, so we would suggest that you wait a day or two till the handset reaches local retailers; as the e-tailer has a pretty bad reputation when it comes to online shopping.

As of now only the black variant of the Lumia 830 is available for sale online. News is, that the handsets are getting stocked in stores all across India and will go on sale in a day or two.

Whether the specs of the Lumia 830 are worth the Rs 28,800 price tag, is clearly up to you to decide. This becomes more difficult, considering that the legendary Lumia 1020 is now retailing for Rs. 28,000 as we reported earlier and is a much better buy, considering the optics.
