LG G3 Stylus Gets Priced At Rs 21,500 In India

The handset showed up on the official website along with pricing details even though it has not been launched.

The LG G3 Stylus (D690) was announced much before the IFA in August which was designed to bring a stylus experience to the G3 range. The handset has only recently started rolling out globally and now has already shown up on LG’s official website in India.

The handset’s speciality is clearly the Rubberdium stylus that is made by LG and last appeared with the Vu. Of course LG has worked on the UX as well. There are a ton of features that set the device apart from the Quad HD LG G3 smartphone, but clearly this is not a flagship but a mid-range device something that becomes visible when you look at the specs.

  • There is a big 5.5 inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD IPS display
  • A 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM and expandable memory via a micro SD card slot
  • You get a 13 MP camera with an LED flash on the back with 1.3 MP unit for selfies
  • Also included are the usual radios along with the dual SIM functionality
  • The handset runs Android KitKat and is powered by a massive 3000 mAh battery

Indeed LG is targeting the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Neo here with a large display and a stylus, but it certainly falls a bit short since Samsung clearly invented the phablet category.

The handset seems to be available in black, white and gold and will be priced at Rs 21,500 in India when launched.
