New iPads And OS X Yosemite To Be Announced In October

Users updating to iOS 8 just have a month to go till they can take advantage of the Continuity feature.

We are pretty sure iOS users are rushing to update their devices to iOS 8 as the update has just gone live. While most of the new features will make it to the device directly, there are a couple of others that will begin functioning only after you update your Mac or MacBook to OS X Yosemite, Apple latest version of its desktop operating system. Rumours now have it that Apple will be announcing the new iPad on the 21st of October along with the updated OS X Yosemite so the wait is indeed, not too far away.

The news comes from The Daily Dot which reports that the Cupertino tech giant will be hosting its next product launch just a month away on the 21st of October. The date has not been confirmed for now, but the event should happen around this time. Indeed this is nothing new, because Apple did the same thing last year when it announced the iPad Air and the iPad mini with Retina Display in a similar fashion a month after the iPhone 5s announcement.

There is not much that we know about the upcoming iPads, but we should expect a faster processor upgrade and the inclusion of the all-important fingerprint sensor to keep things refreshed. As for OS X Yosemite, we have already seen a run-down for the same back at the WWDC.
