Details Of The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Finally Surface
When it comes to Sony, small can indeed be very powerful.
Fresh images of the rumoured Sony Xperia Z3 Compact smartphone have surfaced online once again. This time around, the leaker via his Weibo account also managed to scribble down the hardware specifications that the device may bring to the mini smartphone game.
When it comes to ‘mini’ versions of its flagships, Sony is one company that stands tall, with its ‘compact’ smartphones delivering enough juice and premium quality construction that could put a Samsung flagship to shame. Indeed Sony goes with the ‘Compact’ branding rather than the ‘Mini’ tag that HTC, Samsung and the rest of the manufacturers follow.
The Xperia Z1 Compact was no slouch and as the rumour goes, the Z3 Compact will indeed be the ‘King of the mini smartphone ring’ this year as well. If the leaked information turns out to be true, we could be seeing a ‘mini’ handset from Sony with a 4.6 inch 1080p display with some razor thin bezels, that can force the current Xperia Z2 to go on a serious diet. Inside, we will find a Snapdragon 801 chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM which clearly puts it in line with the Z2 and other current flagships.

The camera is said to be the same 20.7 MP unit like we would find on the current Z2 which would be keeping with Sony’s tradition of delivering flagship-sized power in a smaller package. Indeed, a market does exist which demands for powerful smartphones for normal-sized hands, and only Sony is aware of it.
