myTube App For Windows Phone Is Free For 24 Hours
The best-looking third-party YouTube app in the Windows Phone Store in now free for a limited time.
myTube, one of the most beautifully designed third-party YouTube apps out there has now gone free for the next 24 hours. Obviously it cannot compete with the official YouTube app from Google’s Play Store, but it will be getting there shortly. The apps usually retails for Rs 110 on the Windows Phone Store, so the offer is definitely a steal.
The app is one of the best offerings in the Windows Phone Store, with transitions and controls that will never fail to surprise you. The app follows the modern UI theme and keeps things simple from the very beginning. Once you log in you get access to all your YouTube subscriptions and swipe to left from there will take you into the details of your account.
What looks really cool is the player, which comes with some unique looking controls and utilizes the entire screen for rewinding and forwarding your video. Everything else is simply bug-free and even better than the MetroTube app for Windows Phone.
Microsoft could indeed learn a thing or two about app design from publisher Ryken Apps and utilize the sleek looking player into the native UI.
If you spend a lot of time on YouTube and simply hate Microsoft’s trashy YouTube app, you clearly don’t need to look anywhere else; especially now, since it is free.
Do note that you will need to uninstall and reinstall the app from your phone (if you are using the trial version) to change the status of the app from ‘owned’ to ‘purchased’.
If you have not downloaded it yet, you can click here to do the same.
