Unofficial 'iPhone Air' Render Gets Apple Fans Raging
Here's a beautiful 3D render by Sam Beckett as to how the next iPhone may look like.
We don't even know the next iPhone's release date yet, but its design and list of features have already become the talk of the town. Since Apple products are known for its flaunt-value, most people are crazy to find out what the iPhone 6 may look like. This has given rise to the unofficial iPhone images rendered by Apple fanatics.
One such unofficial iPhone concept video has been created by Sam Beckett using Adobe's Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Final Cut Pro. The video showcases a contraption called the “iPhone Air” combining many of the rumours going around about the much awaited iPhone 6.
The concept isn't a stark departure from Apple's current design language for the iPhone, and we wouldn't be surprised if the real phone ends up looking quite similar. The 'iPhone Air' is imagined to have a larger 4.7-inch screen, boasting of Full HD resolution giving it a pixel density of 468ppi.
Another appealing feature rendered is the use of a sapphire crystal display rather than the regular Corning glass, and almost non-existent side bezels. The rear shooter has a resolution of 10-megapixels along with an aperture of just f/1.8 which should help the 'iPhone' obliterate some of the smaller Nokia devices in terms of picture quality.
True to its 'Air' badge, the device is only 7mm thick - a 9 per cent reduction, while the overall size of the device has increased by just 8% in order to accommodate the larger screen. Controls and ports remain much the same, with the bottom housing the Lightening port, dual speakers and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
While the concept is just an enthusiasts take on what the iPhone 6 could look like, it only reassures the demand for a new mobile device from Apple. The speculation which has surrounded the next phone has been huge, and the company runs the risk of under-delivering, if Apple is capable of doing such a thing.
