Wickedleak Wammy Passion X: India's First Waterproof Smartphone

The 5-inch Android handset is priced at Rs 22,500.

 

Wickedleak has introduced India's first waterproof handset. Dubbed as Wammy Passion X, this phone can be submerged in water for 30 minutes. It's also the company's first octa-core smartphone powered by a MediaTek MTK6592 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz. The smartphone features Android 4.2 out-of-the-box. The Wammy Passion X offers dual-SIM (GSM) support with dual standby. The 5-inch full-HD IPS screen has pixel dimensions of 1080x1920, translating to a pixel density of 443ppi. For photography, there's a 13-megapixel rear camera backed by BSI sensor and a 5 megapixel front-facing snapper. Other features include 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, microSD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 2500 mAh battery.

The phone is priced at Rs 22,500, and is available via company's online store.
