Micromax Launches Bolt A068 For Rs 7100
With last year’s specifications will the new Bolt be a hit?
Remember last year’s Micromax Canvas Fun A76? It was a budget phone powered by Jelly Bean V 4.2 and 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with a feeble 512 MB of RAM. Micromax seems to have changed its shell, named it the Bolt A068, and placed it back on the shelves.
Powered by a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor, the handset features a dual-SIM setup with always on dual-standby. While the rest of the specifications are similar to the Fun, we hope that they at least increased the RAM to 1 GB so that we see a slight performance bump. With a 2000 mAh battery fuelling a 5 inch screen and an energy efficient dual-core chipset, we think this handset should easily get one through a day of usage.
Available in Blue and White the handset is priced at Rs 7,108 and should hit the retail shelves soon as it currently only available online.
