Micromax Will Soon Add A96 To Its Canvas Series Of Smartphones

It's said to be very similar to the recently launched Canvas Elanza A93.

 

Micromax and XOLO have been on a launch spree for a past couple of days. If the latest rumours are to be believed, it's not going to stop anytime soon. Gadgetstouse.com claims that Microsoft is prepping to launch a 5-incher called A96, which will share many features with the Canvas Elanza A93.

Launched a few days ago with a price tag of Rs. 9,400, the A93 is a budget device. With a 1.3 GHz Dual-core processor and a fairly decent 1GB of RAM; the device also comes external MicroSD support and (upto 32GB). The dual-core A96 is supposed to be very similar, save for some minor differences and fewer accessories. Will it be a cheaper cousin to the A93 or a more expensive one? All we can say right now is that with the trend shifting to quad-core processors, these handsets will surely take a hit once they are loaded with apps.

The phone is expected to be available on sale next week.
