Indian Youth Injured In Smartphone Battery Explosion
The handset in question is said to be the Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114.
A quad-core processor and large capacity battery are must for most smartphone buyers these days. However, when the things go wrong, these fancy specs can hurt you real bad. Unfortunately, a guy from New Delhi learned it the hard way. According to gadgetstouse.com, the victim has been seriously injured due to the explosion in his smartphone's battery. The blogger, who resides in Delhi, has provided photographs of the injured person as a proof. The images are so disturbing that we've decided not to embed them in this article. Tough guys head over to this page, you've been warned. It's said that the phone in question is Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114. For those not in the know, this budget smartphone packs in MediaTek's quad core chipset and 2000 mAH battery.
At this moment, it's not known whether the victim has been using original Micromax battery or charger. That said, it's highly unlikely that a person would use third-party battery or charger for Micromax phones. Seriously, are there any accessories cheaper than that of Micromax?
