Micromax has announced its partnership with MTS to launch Canvas Blaze smartphone. With this handset you can expect data services on 3G EVDO networks. The Canvas Blaze sports a 5" touchscreen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip featuring 1 GHz dual-core CPU with integrated EVDO and GSM modem. It runs Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and has an 1850 mAh battery. It features an 8 MP rear camera with flash and VGA front camera. The phone supports Bluetooth v2.0 and Wi-Fi along with a microSD card of up to 32 GB. The Canvas Blaze comes with a price tag of Rs 11,000 and comes bundled with 2 GB Data, 1000 minutes of MTS-to-MTS local calls and 120 minutes for other local and STD calls. This monthly benefit is applicable per month for 6 months. The calling and data plans look good but the mobile seems a bit dated for a price tag in excess of 10K.
