Spice Launches Low Cost Smart Flo Edge Dual-Sim 2G Smartphone

A shoe-string smartphone for the cost conscious

 

S Mobility Limited today unveiled the new dual sim Spice Smart Flo Edge Android smartphone. It has a 3.5 inch capacitive screen and sports a 1.3 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash and front facing VGA camera.

Being a dual Sim (2G + 2G) device, it comes packed with 1 GHz processor. However the OS is Gingerbread 2.3 smartphone and also has a low 512 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM which is expandable upto 32 GB through a micro SD card. With these specs, we say stick to 2.3 Gingerbread OS even if Spice dares to come out with an update.

As for the battery, its 1500mAh battery gives a talk-time of more than 6 hours and up to 120 hours standby ensuring a strong battery backup.

The handset will be available in the market just in time for Diwali from November 1 and is priced at Rs.3299
