Spice Out With The Cheapest Gingerbread Smartphone
Retails at just over Rs 5000.
Spice has launched Mi-280, the lowest priced dual-SIM Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) phone in the Indian market currently. This 2.8" capacitive touchscreen phone comes with a 3.2 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calls. It also supports 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot, and Bluetooth v2.1.
The Mi-280 is powered by a 600 MHz processor, an unknown GPU, and features 512 MB RAM. It also comes with a proximity sensor, GPS with AGPS, and PushMail. Measuring 105.5 x 57 x 12.9 mm, and weighing just 96 g, this is a really compact phone. Other features include audio and video player and FM radio. The 1000 mAh battery claims to provide a battery backup of 150 hours and a talk time of up to 200 minutes.
Available in silver and black, the Spice Mi-280 is priced at Rs 6000, but is available at Spice's own Saholic.com online store at just Rs 5100.
