WeChat 5.0 Now Available For Download For iDevices
Users can now purchase new stickers from within the app.
Popular instant messenger app WeChat in a new version (WeChat 5.0) is now available for download for the iOS platform. The latest version comes with new enhancements such as Stickers and a new "Hold Together" feature. There is a new Sticker Shop, from where users can download/puechase new Stickers through their Apple ID.
Another important feature of the WeChat 5.0 is "Hold Together" that allows users to detect and connect with friends in a specific distance, using location co-ordinates. Apart from this, there is also the added functionality of saving favourite clips from user chats on the handset. The app is 30.6 MB large, and is available free of cost.
