No fees for used games but requires to be online once in every 24 hours with a recommended connection speed of 1.5 Mbps.

Cashing in the time just before E3, Microsoft has released more details on the new Xbox One's controller, game licensing and privacy control. The new controller is a result of 20 research studies with more than 500 participants and 200 prototypes. Some new included features in the controller making it more immersive are Impulse Triggers. These are vibration motors placed behind each triggers for an immersive feedback while playing games. The data transfer between the controller and the console has also been improved allowing high fidelity audio communication for the headsets.

Requiring 25 percent less force, the thumbsticks are now smaller with a knurled texture for more comfort, control and precision. The A,B,X,Y buttons have a new placement on the controller making the menu buttons more accessible. The invisible reflective technology and the LED along with the Kinect sensor is providing an innovative experience of player switching like swapping of split screen on TV when players switch their position on the couch. With over 40 technology innovations, the new Xbox controller, as quoted by the Xbox team, "is the best controller we have ever made".

The Xbox Wire blog also states that the new Xbox One will not require an "always on" connection but would need to connect to the internet once in every 24 hours. The games that would require cloud service will need internet connection but single player title would not need so till 24 hours. That means you won't be able to play single player game titles for as long as you want and would require to re-establish a connection. But there is no restriction to watch live TV or DVD movies. And yes, a broadband connection of at least 1.5 Mbps is also recommended for optimal experience.

Now lending games to your friends is now possible but with restriction. Sharing some notes on the licensing policy, the blog states that you can give an Xbox One game disc to a friend only if he is on your friend list on Xbox Live for more than 30 days and that too only once for each title. Trading your games is also possible with only participating retailers.

The concern regarding privacy issues with the Kinect device being connected to the Xbox has also been addressed in the blog post. It states that there will be options to navigate to privacy settings and set your own preferences. Even the "Xbox On" command to turn on the console can be disabled in the settings. Games collecting data will not be able to capture any kind of audio, video or  expressions unless permitted to do so.
