YouTube Music Videos Now Integrated With Flipkart
Users will now have more options of legally get music online.
After launching e-books and movies on Google Play, Google has now turned selling music through videos. A report on Medianama suggest that YouTube-integrated music tracks can officially purchased via Flipkart. Up until now, YouTube allowed users to buy music from Apple iTunes store and Amazon's MP3 store. Considering that the Amazon store doesn't work in India, this surely will be a welcome addition for multimedia buffs.
Although the exact number of labels that have been integrated is not known yet, the EMI music label on YouTube is showing the "Buy from" Flipkart link. By the likes of it, online music streaming seems to be an in-thing in recent times — Gaana.com just launched mobile apps and Saavn.com launched an English language channel. Flipkart, on its part celebrated the first birthday of its digital store Flyte with 1000 free albums to download. Let's only hope that this encourages more users to download multimedia legitimately.
