Wickedleak has launched the Wammy Titan II, which is the phablet powered by a quad-core CPU. In recent times, there have been quite a few companies that have been making low-cost quad-core tablets and smartphones, and this race seems to be heating up with new entrants every other day. The Titan II runs Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and sports a 5.3" QHD IPS display with 5-point capacitive touch. It has 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage, which is not much, but will do, thanks to the up to 32 GB microSD card expandability option. Being a GSM smartphone, it has dual-SIM support, with one SIM supporting 3G and the other 2G. The 12 mp snapper at the rear and 5 mp front camera for video chat take care of imaging. It is expected to receive an Android 4.2 update by July this year. The Wickedleak Wammy Titan II is available for pre-order on the company website for a rather affordable Rs 14,000. It will be available at 5 retail stores in Mumbai on the 21st of this month, and in 75 stores across the country from the 29th. The company has also slashed the price of the dual-core Wammy Titan with similar features to Rs 11,000, if you think that it is not worth spending that much more on a quad-core.
