Twitter Now Available For Nokia's Series 40 Phones

A Twitter app for Series 40 feature phones was announced yesterday on the official Nokia blog. This will come as welcome news to the huge customer base of S40 phones all over India, since these handsets fall in the budget segment.

As expected, the app lacks the sophistication of its smartphone variants, such as being unable to run in the background to push out notifications to the user whenever a tweet arrives. Regardless, lovers of the microblogging service who happen to be stuck with low-end phones can now tweet from anywhere and follow their favourite accounts on the go.
