Meizu Introduces A Seamless Phone Devoid Of Ports And Buttons
The phones comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and sound.
These days, Chinese companies are leading the innovation in mobile industry. These brands have introduced pop-out cameras, punch-hole displays, dual-displays, and whatnot. They are even making top brands such as Apple and Samsung look like laggards.
Following the footsteps of Vivo Apex, the Meizu Zero comes with an all glass 3D unibody with no openings for charging, data transfer, sim tray, speaker, mic, and also lacks any buttons. This enables the Meizu Zero to be completely waterproof and certified by IP68 rating.
The smartphone comes with a 18-watt wireless charger. The company has replaced conventional SIM slot with a built-in eSIM. The 6-inch Full HD+ OLED display comes with a unique mSound 2.0 technology that propogates the sound. This technology was first used by Xiaomi for its MI Mix device in the past. Audiophiles don’t get a 3.5 mm audio jack. And there's no micro USB port either. To power On/Off this device and to increase/decrease the volume you will have to rely on the mEngine 2.0 by Meizu. It essentially features a squeeze interaction much like HTC's flagship phones.
This premium phone from Meizu comes powered by last year’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 845. On the camera front, it comes equipped by a dual camera setup at the rear comprising of a 20-megapixel Sony IMX380 primary sensor along with a 20-megapixel IMX350 secondary telephoto sensor. The selfie camera is equipped with a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is loaded to the gills with features. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will run on Meizu’s Flyme OS on top of Android. The handset is said to come in Black and White colour options but its pricing and release date is yet to be released.
