Acer Launches Spin 1 Convertible Notebook

The notebook comes with a compact design and sleek body, and features BluelightShield to reduce eye strain.

 

Acer has recently announced the launch of a new version of its popular Spin 1 convertible notebook, which comes with a sleek all-metal body and runs on Windows 10. It is also being said that the new convertible notebook also supports Windows Ink through an Acer Active Styles for creative users on the go.

The Acer Spin 1 weighs around 1.25 kg and is almost half-an-inch thick, while it sports Intel Pentium or Intel Celeron processor, 4 GB DDR3L RAM and eMMC storage in three choices - 32 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB.

It also comes with 11.6 inch FHD touch enabled display screen, and is backed by almost eight hours of battery life. The convertible notebook is also compatible with four modes - laptop, display, tablet, and tent.

The notebook also supports Intel Wireless AC (802. 11ac 2x2) technology, and features Acer BluelightShield which is claimed to reduce eye strain from prolonger screen viewing.

Also, the device comes with speakers with Acer TrueHarmony technology, and supports connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.1 port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and one microSD (SDXC) card slot.

The Acer Spin 1 will be available in North America in July with prices starting at $329, and in EMEA in July with prices starting at €399.
