Swift 3 sports 7th Gen Intel Core Processor while Swift 1 has an Intel Pentium or Celeron Processor.
Acer has unveiled its two new models under Swift series of ultra-slim notebooks dubbed as Swift 3 and Swift 1 for price tags starting at $599 and $329 respectively. Both these models are announced to be available for purchase in June in North America and EMEA, and in China starting from April itself.
The Acer Swift 3 is a sleek and portable device with great performance that’s ideal for getting things done on the road and everywhere else. Meanwhile the ultraslim Acer Swift 1 offers users essential features for productivity in the office or classroom and a beautiful design, all without breaking the bank, the company claims in a recent press release.
Technically speaking, the Swift 3 comes with 7th Gen Intel Core Processor with optional NVIDIA GeForce graphics while the Swift 1 sports an Intel Pentium or Celeron processor. Adding further, the Swift 3 comes in two display screen sizes: 14 inch and 15.6 inch with FHD resolution, while on the other hand, the Swift 1 features a 13.3 inch FHD IPS display.
Additionally, the Swift 3 includes fast 512GB SSDs or spacious 1TB HDDs, up to 8GB of memory and 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology for fast and reliable internet connectivity, along with a USB 3.1 Type C port and HD webcam, while the Swift 1 comes with 4 GB RAM, and either 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of SSD or eMMC storage. The Swift 1 also includes ultra-fast 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology, providing seamless connectivity.
Both of the notebooks support Windows Hello through fingerprint readers for fast and secure logins, while Skype for Business certification ensures crisp and lag-free communication and a great Cortana with Voice experience. They also feature Acer BluelightShield, an application that allows users to control how much blue light is emitted for reducing eye strain, and Acer TrueHarmony, which delivers bolder, more lifelike audio for a richer and immersive media enjoyment experience.
