Apple iPhone 8 Leaks Again, New Rumours Pop Up
The iPhone rumours popped up until now may turn false, suggests a source to iDrop News.
Launch of Apple iPhone 8 is definitely no way near, but the rumours are simply building up the vibe almost every day. Now, it looks like we have a photo which is claimed to be of iPhone 8 glossy back variant, according to a recent post published on iDrop News.
According to the post, the so-called final-stage iPhone Edition prototype has been spotted along with some radical design, which interestingly looks like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
As per the image above that was shared by iDrop News, we can see a vertical dual-lens camera setup and a fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the device, which is kind of new for us. Until now, we have been witnessing rumours that suggested Touch ID technology to be added beneath the display itself in the upcoming iPhone device.
In-fact, iDrop News mentions in its post that the publication spoke privately with a Foxconn employee who clarified that many iPhone 8 rumours that have surfaced until now have many mistakes and would not be lining up with the actual ‘iPhone Edition’ device as it is said to be actually called now.
Adding further, it is being reported by iDrop News that the glass back which was expected earlier may not actually be true, as the source close to the manufacturing plant has mentioned that the current Apple iPhone Edition prototype features a metal back plate. Also, we may be seeing a 2.5D OLED edge-to-edge display instead of the rumoured full-curved OLED display.
With this said, we can clearly see a major shift in the way iPhone’s upcoming flagship device was being rumoured. Well, only time can tell.
