Opera Mini For Android's New Update Allows You To Download Content Faster
The new update also adds a Facebook notification bar inside the browser itself.
Opera has recently rolled out a new update for its Android Browser app, the Opera Mini, which brings a couple of new features that help users download content faster on websites like Facebook.
The company has recently given a sneak peak of some of the interesting features that can be found in the update, via an official blog post, and accordingly, it seems that the browsing app will now automatically scan websites for downloadable videos and music.
According to the blog post, Opera Mini, with extreme data saving mode activated, will be able to scan the website for the working direct download link and give it to users from a drop-down menu in the top of your screen.
Here’s the actual screenshot as shared by the company in the blog post.
However, it looks like this feature is currently available on few websites that Opera Mini users use the most, including Facebook, Pagalworld, Tubidy, DJPunjab, and few more. The list may soon grow, hints the blog post.
Along with this, the new update is also including a Facebook notification bar which allows users to be updated on what is going on in their friends’ lives without actually logging in to Facebook.
While these two seems to be very important features, Opera Mini’s recent update also brings features like Compression of saved pages, Support for video boost when using Extreme mode, Improvements to the download manager UI, and a couple of bug fixes as well.
