Vivo V5 Plus Unveiled Ahead Of India Launch On Jan 23

Along with this smartphone, the company has also unveiled V5 Lite.

 

Vivo has finally unveiled two new smartphones, Vivo V5 Plus and V5 Lite, just before the official launch event, to be held on Jan 23, in India.

While, Vivo V5 Plus that comes with a dual front-facing camera setup has been pretty much in the news lately, the company seems to be all set to even launch a lower-specced variant; the one we mentioned above - Vivo V5 Lite.

To recall, a third-party retailed in Malaysia recently announced that the Vivo V5 Plus smartphone was available for pre-ordering, and the specifications were revealed as well. The price tag was announced as RM 1,799 which roughly translates to Rs 27,500.

Speaking about the specifications, the Vivo V5 plus sports a 16 MP rear camera, while the dual front facing camera module is made up of one 20 MP sensor and another 8 MP sensor. Additionally, the smartphone features a 5.5 inch FHD display, 2 GHz octa core Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, 3,160 mAh battery, and 4G LTE support.

On the other hand, the V5 Lite that has been unveiled officially sports a 3 GB of RAM instead of the 4 GB RAM and comes with 13 MP rear camera and a single 16 MP sensor on the front for regular selfies. The smartphone also comes with a 32 GB ROM and features a 3,000 mAh battery.
