Vivo V5 Plus May Be Launched In India On Jan 23

The smartphone is touted to feature a dual front camera module, instead of a single 20 MP sensor found in V5.

Vivo seems to be all set to launch its upcoming smartphone dubbed as the V5 Plus in India on Jan 23. The company is already sending out media invites for the same.

Interestingly, the smartphone is said to be featuring a dual front camera setup, which the company touts to be the industry’s biggest selfie camera revolution. Having said this, we still are not sure whether the smartphone would be simply featuring two separate sensors or is there anything more in terms of technology, that we may have missed until now.

Considering the name V5 Plus, this smartphone is an upgrade to the V5 smartphone that was launched last year in November.

We also feel that the smartphone would be a modest upgrade from V5 and thus, the front camera difference is what we can see, as a major one. Rest other details we feel to be same as the V5.

It may sport a 5.5 inch FHD IPS display, 1.5 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. We may see a 13 MP rear camera and a hybrid SIM slot. Having said that, we had also seen in V5, a plastic body rather than a metal one. We may have to block the date and wait for further details about the smartphone.
