General Mobile GM5 May Launch This Month Under Android One Initiative

The smartphone comes with decent specifications and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

 

Turkish mobile manufacturer General Mobile has recently launched a new smartphone dubbed as the GM5 that runs on Android 7.0 Nought out-of-the-box. The smartphone is part of Google’s Android One initiative that works mainly on bringing stock Android to the masses.

While we are still having no information regarding the price tag of the GM5, the smartphone manufacturer has informed that the smartphone will be available for purchase starting this month (November) only.

However, speaking about the entire specifications of the smartphone, as listed on the company’s website, we may expect a metal edges and textured back design, while a 13 MP rear sensor and 5 MP front facing sensor may occupy the camera section, and a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 2 GB RAM power up the device. It also supports 4G LTE connectivity, along with WIFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio and weighs around 160 grams.

The GM5 by General Mobile comes with a 5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and offers 16 GB of internal storage, along with a 2,500 mAh battery.

The smartphone is available in Golden, Space Gray, and Black color schemes.
