Meizu Launches Cheaper Variant Of MX6

The new smartphone is currently available in China and comes with a 3 GB of RAM instead of the original 4 GB RAM.

 

Chinese smartphone company Meizu has recently launched a new variant of its MX6 smartphone, that comes with a 3 GB of RAM, while the actual Meizu MX6 that was launched in July sports a 4 GB RAM.

Speaking about the new cheaper variant of the smartphone, it comes with a dual SIM support while it runs on Flyme OS 5.5 that is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone also sports a 5.5 inch LCD display, and under the hood it comes with a 2.3 GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor coupled with a 3 GB RAM, as we have already mentioned.

The new variant's launch was first reported by GizmoChina, and currently it is only available in China, and we are still unaware about the availability in other regions.

Speaking about the smartphone, it comes with a fingerprint scanner on the home button, much like most of the smartphones that are being launched in the market, and the camera department sports a 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera,  both with f/2.0 aperture.

Backing all these features, the Meizu MX6 comes with a 3,060 mAh battery, and supports fast charging and 4G VoLTE connectivity.
