Micromax Launches Canvas 5 Lite At INR 6,499

Indian smartphone company has recently announced the launch of yet another smartphone in its Canvas 5 series, at a price of INR 6,499. The smartphone is said to be exclusively available on Snapdeal, starting this Friday.

Under the hood, the smartphone sports a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with a 2 GB of RAM and a 16 GB of internal storage. Also, the smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display, 8 MP rear camera with flash, and 5 MP front camera camera.

Dubbed as the Canvas 5 Lite, the smartphone features a brown leather finish on the back panel, while it supports dual SIM and 4G LTE connectivity. Other connectivity options are WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and micro USB. Backing all these features is a 2,000 mAh battery that is expected to provide life of up to 150 hours when the phone is in standby mode.
