Lenovo Launches Z2 Plus Without A Zuk In It

The smartphone runs on ZUI rather than the Cyanogen OS that came with ZUK Z1.

After the success of ZUK Z1 smartphone by Lenovo (except the Airplane mode issue and no support for Cyanogen OS), the company has now announced its successor, Lenovo Z2 Plus in two variants, available for sale starting Sept 25, exclusively on Amazon India.

Speaking about the technical specifications, the new smartphone features a Snapdragon 820 processor and 5 inch Full HD Display.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus will be coming in two variants - 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB ROM, priced at INR 17,999 and INR 19,999 respectively, and the device will be sold in two color schemes as well: Black and White.

Built with a Fiber Glass frame, the new smartphone is expected to be more durable while weighing in at around 150 grams. Also, on the other hands, users get a dedicated app to track all fitness needs with dedicated pedometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, and sensor processing unit.

The smartphone also features U-Touch home button, a proprietary technology by Lenovo that allows users to make the most of the home button in the Z2 Plus device. Along with being a fingerprint sensor, the U-Touch home button also stores in 7 different gestures and shortcuts like switching between recent apps, going back, and others.

The smartphone will come with a premium Chrono Case Accessory with 5 different Chrono faces. The Matte Black Stealth Case worth Rs 699 will be bundled with the phone. The Z2 Plus also sports a 3,500 mAh battery, along with a 13 MP rear camera capable of recording 4K videos and slomo at 240 fps, and 8 MP front camera.
