Micromax Lists Canvas 5 Lite Edition On Its Website

This new special edition variant seems to have cut-down a bit in the camera department when compared to its original device.

 

Home-grown smartphone company, Micromax has recently listed a new special 'lite' edition of its Canvas 5 smartphone on its official website.

While there seems to be no information regarding its price and availability, the new edition, dubbed, the Canvas 5 Lite is expected to go on sale pretty soon.

When compared to the original Canvas 5 smartphone that was launched back in November 2015, the 'Lite' edition comes with a walnut wooden finish rear panel and 4G LTE connectivity.

Other features according to the listing include a 5 inch HD IPS display, 1 GHz quad core MediaTek processor, 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage space, and a 2,000 mAh battery.

On the camera front, the smartphone features a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera which is capable of capturing videos at 720p quality.

To remind you, earlier this week, Micromax also launched a new smartphone, christened as, the Unite 4 Plus at a price tag of INR 7,999. The smartphone supports 12 Indian languages, and features Indus Swipe, hybrid keyboard, and a regional language market place for apps.
