Mark The Date: September 7 Is When iPhone 7 Arrives
But, if this date is confirmed by Apple, the event will compete with Sony's PlayStation event that will happen on the same day.
Bloomberg seems to be a little confident when it comes to the new Macbook Pro and the much awaited iPhone 7. The publication has reported recently that the next iPhone will be launched on Sept 7, which lines up with previous launches; iPhone 6S was unveiled last year on Sept 9.
However, this is still not a confirmed date, as Engadget has mentioned that the official confirmation will likely be out within next few weeks. The report by Engadget also states that, if the new iPhone will be launched on Spet 7, it will have to actually compete with Sony's PlayStation event which will happen on the same day.
Considering the previous rumours and video leaks, the new iPhone 7 will be coming without a 3.5 mm headphones jack... and will be using the lightning port itself for audio connectivity. Also, the phone will be coming with a dual camera setup and new antenna design!
It is also being showcased in a recently leaked video that the iPhone 7 would be coming in 3 variants -- regular, pro, and plus, and in different color schemes.
