Cartoon Network Launches Mobile App For Children
With a lineup of original shows as well as games, the app assures entertainment on the go for children.
Cartoon Network triggers a lot of childhood memories. Iconic cartoon shows like The Flintstones, SWAT Cats, Scooby Doo, Dexter’s Laboratory and so many other shows have been etched in our memories. Sweet Nostalgia!
The most popular cartoon channel owned by Time Warner company, Cartoon Network has launched a mobile application, Cartoon Network Anything. Cartoon Network Anything is an ideal entertainment platform for children. The app is designed to host a series of micro content.
Children can now watch their favorite cartoons on the go. Children can indulge in video games, quizzes and other engaging activities on the app. The app will also host original content like "Roll No.21", "Adventure Time", "We Bare Bears", "The Powerpuff Girls", "Uncle Grandpa", "Regular Show", "The Amazing World of Gumball" and "Teen Titans Go!"
"CN Anything is our initiative that brings world class entertainment for our kids on their mobile phones and tablets," Siddharth Jain, Managing Director, South Asia, Turner India, said in statement.
As adult who still loves to watch cartoons, and I write on behalf of all those 90’s Cartoon Network fans, it would be great if the app could also feature some of their timeless original shows like Johnny Quest, Captain Planet, The Jetsons and the evergreen Tom and Jerry. We would love to relive a few childhood moments in the new age way-The App Way.
Cartoon Network Anything app is available for downloads on App Store and Play Store.
