Snapdeal Mobile Website Now Available In Hindi & Telugu

The e-commerce portal is all set to bring in the shopping experience in 11 regional languages by Jan, 2016.

 

Snapdeal has launched its mobile website in Hindi and Telugu language on Tuesday, which seems to be much of an attempt to attract more customers.

According to Livemint, the e-commerce portal is also planning to bring the mobile website in 11 regional languages by Jan 26, next year.

The company has put it out that the mobile website would be available in Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Assamese, Punjabi and Marathi along with Hindi and Telugu.

This move by Snapdeal comes in as the company expects to reach an additional 130 million smartphone users.

As per a recent report by Livemint, Rohit Bansal, the co-founder of Snapdeal has announced that the company will now cater to 270 million users including millions of those who do not speak English language in the country.

However, as of now, it looks like the company is introducing the multilingual platform only on the mobile platform and plans to roll out the same on to other platforms including desktop website based on the customer feedback.
