Wouldn't it be great to enjoy the cool new operating system Windows 10 without actually buying a new Windows smartphone? Well, Xiaomi and Microsoft China have

collaboratively brought in the Windows 10 Mobile ROM for the LTE version of the Mi 4.

We all know that this is definitely a good news for the Windows Mobile fanatics as buying the Lumia 950 & 950 XL is clearly cutting the pockets.

However, the Windows 10 Mobile ROM is currently in the beta stage which means that some minor bugs may still exist. They will be removed with frequent bug reports by users.

With this development, we can expect the ROM to reach other Android devices in the coming months.

So, here's how to install the beta version on your Mi 4:

First and foremost, you will have to download the ZIP file from either the MIUI forum or Windows Insider.

Once the download is complete, you need to extract the ZIP file and install the driver available in the folder.

After installing the driver on to your PC, you will have to connect your Mi 4 LTE device to the computer and open 'MiFlash tool' on your computer.

Next, all you need to do is just follow the instructions accordingly and you will have Windows 10 Mobile installed on your Mi 4.

PS: In case if you want to revert back to the MIUI on your Xiaomi device, you can return back by simply re-flashing the MIUI on your Mi 4 device.
